⁸ Another angel, a second,^[a] followed. He said, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great,^[b] who made every nation drink from the wine of her adulterous desire.”

⁹ Another angel, a third one, followed them. He said with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ he will also drink from the wine of God’s wrath, which has been poured undiluted^[c] into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.
